Avast just released their latest Beta version of Avast, the “Avast 2014”. The new look of avast adopt the Windows 8 environment, its now simple and minimalist.
After installing Avast 2014 Beta on my Windows 8.1 the program now works perfectly, the previous avast don’t work on Windows 8.1, because of the major update done by Microsoft preventing Antivirus program to work and suggesting everyone to stick on their Windows Defender.
Scan Page looks simplified and much faster than the previous version.
Tools tab contains Software Updater, Secureline, Sandbox, SafeZone, Browser Cleanup, AccessAnywhere and Firewall.
The new features on Avast 2014 is the Statistics where you can see summary reports about virus blocked, shield activity, traffic network, scans and outdated programs.
