SUBJECT: ADJUSTMENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) SERVICE FEES IN LRA TRANSACTIONS
The Land Registration Authority (LRA) hereby announces the adjustment of IT Service Fees stated below for transaction involving electronic registration of titles and deeds, pursuant to Section 12.02 of the Build-Own-Operate Agreement between the Land Registration Authority and the Land Registration System, Inc., for the Information Technology Network and Database Infrastructure Project of the LRA which state as follows:
“Section 12.02 Price Adjustment Procedure. x x x
The Fee Adjustment Procedure shall be as follows:
Effective the first anniversary following the effective date of this agreement and each succeeding anniversary thereafter during the term, the contract fee for each type of transaction rendered by the Service Contrator shall be automatically adjusted in accordance with the following price adjustment formula: x x x”

Said adjustment was found consistent with the afore-quoted Section 12.02 of the BOO Agreement and is in keeping with the intent of Republic Act No. 7718 or the Philippine Build-Operate-Transfer Law by NEDA. Likewise, it was favorably recommended by LRA’s Project Management Executive Committee (PMEC) in its Resolution dated January 14, 2011.
The implementation, however, of the above-stated fee adjustment shall be effected upon the issuance of a Circular to this effect.
